US scientists said the level of the oceans is growing much faster than it had in the past.
A new study, published in the journal Nature, said that since 1990 Sea levels have grown two and a half times faster than during the first nine decades of the last century.
The study suggests that the cause is the speed at which ice in Greenland and West Antarctica is melting, which in turn is caused by Global Warming derived from human action.
Many analysts suggest that this rate will continue to grow faster in the future.
