Produce seize more than 18 tons of marine resources in four regions of Peru

Continued oversight. The Ministry of Production (Produce) reported that after conducting unannounced operating in four regions of 17,075 kilograms and 1,100 kilograms youth Bonito fishing resource of Cherela without documentation of their origin were seized.

In the case of Bonito, seizures took place in Lima, Lambayeque and La Libertad, after intervening various cold rooms. On the other hand, cherela was confiscated from an individual in the Tumbes Region.

This is a clear demonstration of the control actions performed by the Produce along the Peruvian coast in frontal combat illegal fishing.

Importantly, in all these cases the respective occurrence reports kicking relevant sanctioning processes rose. In addition, we seized was donated to various welfare and low-income schools.

Pretty
In the Lima Region at the Toll Paradise (Huacho), the inspectors of the Directorate General of Monitoring and Control Produce intervened isothermal plate camera V2G-903, seizing 9,000 kilograms of juvenile Nice, owned by Mary Velasquez Eleodora Mite Sandoval.

6,075 kilograms of Nice was also confiscated the isothermal chamber plate B6R-867, owned by Victoria EIRL Transport and Marketing

Also, in the checkpoint control of Ancon, 1,350 kilograms were seized Nice to isothermal plate camera C0K-899, owned by Isabel Reyna Cumbicos wafer.

Finally, in the regions of Lambayeque and La Libertad, 650 kilograms of that fishery resource to cold rooms C8H-726 (200 kg) and M2U-748 (450 kg) were seized.

Cherela
On the other hand, in the Tumbes region produces inspectors confiscated isothermal plate camera T2V-822 (owned by Carlos Alberto del Carpio Quijano), a total of 1,100 kilograms of cherela without holding the document "Affidavit Carrier".

The control action is performed in Puerto Pizarro road in a joint operation where staff attended the National Police of Peru and the Regional Directorate of Production Tumbes.

Recall that the Regional Ordinance No. 003-2014-CR-GOB.REG.Tumbes establishes the mandatory use and presentation of the letter. Failure to possess the total confiscation of proceeds is made.

In this regard, the report raised inspectors respective occurrence for violating paragraph 38 of Article 134 of the Regulations of the Fisheries Act approved by the DS No. 012-2001-PE, as amended.

Chanque
Following an unannounced inspection, the inspectors of the Directorate of Supervision and Control seized in Cevichería "Susy" Restaurant City Huacho, 1.5 kilograms of hydro-biological resources or Tolina chanque, species found in closed season.

As recalled in the case of chanque or Tolina Ministerial Resolution 772-2008-Produce established two annual closure in the Peruvian Coast, between 1 April and 30 June and between October 1 and December 31 each year.

Thus, extraction, processing, transportation and marketing of that action is prohibited during such periods.

The seized chanque was donated to the House of the Elderly "Francisca Navarrete Carranza" in the area.
