Produce: anchovy, mackerel and trout compete in culinary competition

Recipes made for 10 soup kitchens in 8 regions of Peru, based Anchovy, Mackerel, Trout and Fish bearded, will compete in the Grand Final I Gastronomic Contest "Fish, rich and nourishing for the whole family", to be held on

The competition, organized by the National Program "To Eat Fish" of the Ministry of Production, attended by 137 soup kitchens, leaving the following 10 finalists: the Popular Dining Virgin of the Assumption of Apurimac, with his plate "grained quinoa with lomo saltado

Likewise, the Popular Dining Sarita Colonia de Ayacucho, with its dish "Spicy Anchovies puca with cracklings";

Also, the Dining Room Traveller Lick High of Huanuco, with his "little fish to coat stone"; Dining Room Las Palmeras de Junín with his "Fish stew with corn bearded"; Dining Laura Caller Iberico de Lima with its "Peruvian chaufa"; Dining Room Garden of Eden in Lima with his "pepper quinoa with Anchovy" and the Nuestra Vida de Lima room with his "olluquito with Anchovies".

Training
Prior to the Grand Final, the mothers of the 10 finalists will be trained eaters, from 3 to 5 December 2014 by renowned Chef Andrés Ugaz on good practices for food handling, cooking and presentation of dishes techniques.

In the Grand Final, the members of each room will prepare their recipes in the presence of a jury of renowned Peruvian chef as Mitsuharu Tsumura, José del Castillo, Flavio Solórzano, among others, qualify the originality of the recipe, use of inputs local landmarks, preparation techniques, combinations, among other criteria.

The People's Diner to reach the top spot will win the complete equipment for your kitchen. For the second and third place prizes will be surprises.
