Chile reiterates diplomacy to resolve land Triangle with Peru

Chilean Foreign Minister, Heraldo Muñoz, reiterated today that the discussion on the sovereignty of Peru Triangle Earth will be resolved diplomatically, as agreed by the governments of both countries.
“Chile's position on the so-called triangle is it known and the agreement between the foreign ministers of settling the issue at diplomatic level remains unchanged”Munoz, who is accompanying President Michelle Bachelet on tour in Germany and Spain, in a terse statement released by the Foreign Ministry said.
The debate over the sovereignty of that piece of land of 3.7 hectares and situated on the border, was revived after the former Chilean President Sebastian Pinera (2010-2014) expressed RPP during a trip to Lima, its conviction that the land belongs Triangle home.
The words of the former president were refuted by the Peruvian Foreign Minister Gonzalo Gutierrez and President Ollanta Humala, who on Monday said that his government's position is “clear and consistent with what is explicit in the Treaty of 1929” that, in his opinion, states that “terrestrial triangle is Peruvian territory”.
The Peruvian government maintains that the border treaty signed by both countries in 1929 established the land border at Point Concordia, on the shore of the Sea
But Chile considers that boundary begins at the Milestone 1, onshore and parallel to the point where the Maritime Boundary begins, as affirmed by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague in a ruling last January.
UP:
Article Two of the Treaty of Lima in 1929:
The territory of Tacna and Arica will be divided into two parts. Tacna to Peru and Arica to Chile. The dividing line between the parties and, consequently, the boundary between the territories of Peru and Chile, start from a point on the coast to be called “Concordia”Distant six miles north Lluta River bridge to continue to the parallel to the path of the Chilean section of the railway from Arica to La Paz and distant five miles east of it, with the skills to use inflections in the demarcation,
