PERU fishing with guts to report…
The Ministry of Production (Produce), through the Minister Piero Ghezzi, accepted the resignation presented by Paul Fernando Chang Phumpiu the position of Deputy Minister of Fisheries had assumed from the May 26, 2012.
By a supreme resolution published today produces the resignation was accepted without giving details of the reasons that pushed the now exviceministro to leave his post and barely gives standard "thanks for the important services rendered."
Phimpiu output occurs in a context in which the sector grew 13.48% in July but has accumulated a 1.94% decline between January and July.
However, Produce wasted no time and today appointed the new Deputy Minister of Fisheries, a position he will lie with Juan Carlos Requejo German.
The Fisheries Sector grew by 13.48% in July, due to the higher extraction Indirect species for human consumption (flour and oil) at 41.58%, with the biggest catch of anchovy for industrial consumption was 400.300 tonnes against the 282.700 tonnes landed in July 2013.

The Deputy Minister of Fisheries brand is Master in Business Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, Bachelor of Laws from the University of Piura and has more than 15 year career in the public sector.
Before taking on this important responsibility, the Deputy Requejo was Director General of Supervision and Fisheries Inspection, Ministry of Production, a position he was appointed at the previous ministerial management in May 2013 and which has achieved significant results in the fight against illegal fishing.
He held also the offices of Secretary General of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture and was Manager of the Central Anticorruption Comptroller General of the Republic.
