Tumbes seized more than two tonnes of mackerel smuggling

More than two tons of fresh fish were found in a refrigerated truck by the Customs Control Carpitas, 100 kilometers south of Tumbes, as confirmed by Produce Coordinator of Foxes, Carlos Marigorda.
The vehicle was driven by its owner, Eugene Yacila who are vendors of fresh fish in Puerto Pizarro.

After being involved for not having proper documentation or guide provider, said Yacila only offered shuttle service and the product owner, species mackerel, Moscol last name.
According to research, the merchandise was loaded in Puerto Pizarro, but came from Ecuador and was destined for the markets of Piura and Chiclayo, areas of greatest demand for this species.

The refrigerated truck was taken to the official repository of the Ministry of Transport and the owner fined 3000 suns.

Meanwhile, the public prosecutor has ordered locate the owner of the goods to render its manifestation in the smuggling case.
