Callao Region: Fishing Permits Alexis Humala were canceled

The Regional Government of Callao reported that on August 1 of this year through Regional Management Resolution No. 903-2013-GRC-GGR rescinded the 26 resolutions authorizing the removal of various anchovy fishing vessels, including permits issued to Alexis Humala.

"Thus it is clear that the Minister of Production, Gladys Triveño is completely uninformed regarding this issue," says a press release.

As recalled, the Ministry of Production (Produce) filed a lawsuit against the Regional President of Callao, Félix Moreno, for allegedly allowing the boat brother of President illegally fish in the Peruvian Sea.

The Minister of Production, Gladys Triveño, said the complaint also apply to the General Manager, Marco Antonio Palomino, and Economic Development Manager, Daniel Bellido.

For its part, states that chalaca authority in March 2011 the former Economic Development Manager, Daniel Bellido, who stopped working at the Callao Region in December of the same year issued the questioned resolutions.

It states that such authorizations provided that in order to operate, shipowners should negotiate with the Ministry of Production, inclusion in their records artisanal fishing vessels for the extraction of anchovy resource for direct human consumption.

"It should be clear that when these resolutions were issued Mr. Ollanta Humala Tasso was not yet President, which is undermined resolutions that purportedly sought to benefit a relative of the president," notes the statement.
