About “Low Visibility” closed port terminals and creeks in Pisco

For present “Low Visibility” due to strong winds, the Port of Pisco, in Piura region, ordered the closure of terminals and coves to any port, fishing and tourism, in order to protect the physical integrity of persons.

By that measure, coordinated with DG and Coastguards of the Navy of Peru, from 09:45 hours are inoperative the Paracas port terminals, Buoyage, Marino Pisco Camisea "Platform" and creeks San Andrés, The Chaco and Artisanal Fisheries Complex "La Puntilla".

In that sense, this Maritime Authority indicates that use extreme security measures at terminals and above coves, to prevent the occurrence of accidents.

On the other hand, the Captaincy of Pisco, found the opening, from 08:00 hours, the Tambo de Mora, Cerro Azul, Petroperu Lagunillas and Laguna largest ports and creeks for all fishing activities, nautical sports activities, tourism and port, having declined the raging de Mar and present favorable for the development of maritime activities conditions.

However they should take necessary precautions to prevent accidents at Sea
