The Provincial Municipality of Paita, in Piura region, handed a cold room Shipowners Association for Human Consumption Craft Port of Paita (AAARCUDIPA), which brings together artisanal fishermen release.

In 2013 the association won the contest organized by the paiteña Procompite commune with the aim of enhancing the productive chain of Fisheries in Piura Province said.

Thus the Municipality of Paita, through the Pro Race law that allows local governments to use part of its operating budget to finance projects, gave a cold room to Vice President Antonio Guisado Leguía representing the whole Association, the same which is valued at 159,000 soles and has a capacity of 7.5 tons.

The ceremony began with the reading over record by Mayor Porfirio Mecca Andrade subsequently took place Blessing of the mobile unit by Father Dominic and then the traditional breaking of champagne was performed.

For his part, Mayor Andrade told Porfirio Mecca partners AAARCUDIPA that this camera will take care and keep in good condition for a good production.
