PERU fishing with guts to report…
The Secretary General of the union of anchoveteros fishing port of Ilo (Moquegua Region), Gerardo Echevarria, has urged the Central Government to implement a plan of social contingency hundreds of fishermen in this part of the region.
This is because there are eight months when fishing for this species is not performed in the south where a prohibition applies within five miles where the shoal front or near the border in Chile is now.
As indicated Echevarría, the situation is worrying for anchovetero Fisheries sector in this port.
