Agency inspectors Evaluation and Environmental Control (OEFA) found that four of seven fishing preventive measures meet the entity were imposed in October to stop the dumping of waste at sea in the Bay of Paita, in Piura region.
Las empresas M.I.K. Carpe S.A.C., Daewon Susan E.I.R.L., Inversiones Holding Perú S.A.C. y Trading Fishmeal Corporation S.A.C. han cesado el vertimiento de sus efluentes a la playa de Paita. Pero Congelados y Conservas del Perú S.A.C., Costa Mira S.A.C. y Proveedora de Productos Marinos S.A.C., no cumplieron con esta medida por lo que el OEFA podrían sancionarlas por esta falta.
In April this year the Office of Environment of Piura decided to investigate 52 companies for allegedly polluting the Bay of Paita.
