Waves of light to moderate intensity are expected in South Coast, from dawn tomorrow, Thursday 19, mainly affecting areas of beaches and ports, warned DG and Coastguards (DGC) of the Navy of Peru.
It states that in the North Coast and Central conditions are normal; however, due to the variability of atmospheric and oceanic systems of the Pacific, in beach areas north and center Litoral, the presence of intermittent waves of light intensity from the northern Pacific Ocean is discarded during the day.
Meanwhile, on the south coast the presence of intermittent slight swell tomorrow morning hours expected and would increase to moderate swell during Friday 20 before decreasing to light waves in the early hours of Saturday 21 February.
The predictive horizon sea state on the coast estimates the restoration of normal conditions in the afternoon of Saturday 21.
Therefore, the Maritime Authority recommends that the entire coastal population and persons performing port activities, fishing, sports and recreational safety measures to prevent accidents and / or personal injury and property damage.
The DCG continue evaluating the sea conditions according to the behavior of atmospheric and oceanic systems for ongoing prevention and safety of all Peruvians.
