The national program “Eat The Fish” Ministry of Production, led to the Cusco community Misca, in the Province of Paruro, a batch of 2,000 tins of Anchovy to help the victims of the powerful quake on Saturday.
The representative of that program, Denis Quintanilla Mendez, reported that they are a total of 40 boxes of canned fish, which will be used in developing “soup kitchens” for the victims who were left homeless by the quake.
He said that in the first days of October 2014 they will be bringing more products to help the affected people and prepare dishes with Anchovies.
Quintanilla reported that community Misca no adequate warehouses to store canned due to the warm weather, but they are making every effort to help the community.
