LAMBAYEQUE – Construction begins fishing Landing in San Jose

With an investment of 32 million 400,000 soles of the Ministry of Production, through the National Fisheries Development Fund (FONDEPES), works for the construction of the Lambayeque Artisan Fishing Landing District of San José were initiated.

According to the first Census of Artisanal Fisheries in the Marine Field, conducted by the Ministry of Production, the Lambayeque region has 2,945 fishermen, 981 artisanal fishing vessel owners, and 1,302 boats.
