With the assistance of representatives of the Provincial Municipality of Santa and the Port of Chimbote, the workbench was installed to address the issue of pollution and cleaning this coastal Bay City Ancash Region.
One of the main objectives of this team will be managing solid and liquid waste generated by boats anchored in the bay, as well as the relocation of these ships.
They have also pointed to the recovery of all beaches between the Province of Santa and the Samanco District.
It was agreed that the next meeting of this workshop will be held on Friday, February 6, wherein there are plans to discuss proposals to meet the objectives.
In the next session will be convened representatives APROFERROL, Agency Assessment and Environmental Control (OEFA), Regional Health Directorate, Regional Directorate of Production, Marine Terminal.
At the first meeting it was also agreed to involve the District municipalities Coishco, Nuevo Chimbote and Samanco.
The installation of the workbench attended the Commander in July Cánepa Rivera, Captain port; the first Regidor July Cortez Rojas, representative of the provincial mayor of Santa and the Regidor Neptalí Briceño Porras, President of the Commission for Environmental Management and Health of the commune.
