Humala opened artisanal fishing landing in Chimbote

For his part, the representative of the association of fisherfolk The Chimu, Moises Leon, said that the modern work, and allows more storage of production, generate more sources related to the extraction of fish use.

"The management lasted more than three years, but now after 13 months we ready this project will be managed by the same association and benefit more than 500 artisanal fishermen," he said.

With its comprehensive improvement The Chimus becomes the third artisanal fishing landing the right country to DS Sanitary Standard No. 040-2001 and the first in the region.

This modern wharf has a pier, delivery system fresh and salt water, cold chamber for five tons of product, outfall, among other equipment.
