Chimbote: Council approves municipal pier auction

By majority, the Provincial Council of Holy auction today approved the municipal pier located on the October 27 sector, the industrial area in Chimbote.

The area will be auctioned on a first call basis at a price of two million soles. And if the spring is not sold, a second call for 15 percent less than the starting price will be made.
Councilman opposition Chancafe Alberto Hurtado said that if the spring auction, the councilors who approved this measure could be subject to possible complaints.

He said that at the meeting of April 25, the Provincial Council of St. voted against the auction of the pier. The ruling party councilors abstained.
