In line with the ongoing work of AVS Chile around the ASC certification of the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC), a new investigator of this entity has been certified Lead Auditor for Salmon ASC standard.
Aurtenechea, like the senior researcher AVS Chile, Javier Unibazo have worked for some time advising companies cultivation of mussels and salmon in the implementation of the Principles and Criteria which addresses the ASC standard.
Aurtenechea training, which included issues related to auditing techniques, interpretation of the principles and requirements of the standard and evaluation of the evidence of conformity, is part of the protocols established by the ASC to generate meaningful competition to professionals who have the
