Captaincy Chiclayo- evaluates reopening spring Puerto Eten

The Coast Guard Maritime Captaincy Pimentel (Lambayeque Region) determined in the coming days whether or not reopening the port of Puerto Eten, which ended three months ago because of the high risk of its structure.

The decision was taken after a new inspection to be conducted in order to verify if the Municipality of Puerto Eten and Regional Government of Lambayeque met lifting the observations of Civil Defense and Maritime Authority.

"By the end of year will determine whether to reopen or not. Everything depends on the progress of work of the institutions in charge of the administration of the aquatic facility"Said the Head of the Captaincy, Luis Pérez Astete.

Recall that in July the maritime authority determined the temporary suspension of the operation for all activity on the dock to represent a danger to about 300 fishermen in the area.
