Fish consumption per person in Arequipa region reaches only 5 kilos per year, while in other countries the consumption exceeds 19 kilos, so the Ministry of Production was held today a campaign called "eating fish".
It searches through educational workshops and campaigns to promote among the Arequipa population fish consumption.
From 10:00 am on the side of Fe y Alegria school in Villa Paraiso district of Cerro Colorado Minister of Production, Piero Ghezzi launch the campaign, with the sale of four tons of frozen fish.
The public may purchase a new sun frozen or preserved loin 1.50 Anchovy fish, plus variety of dishes made of fish taste.
