He stated that these regulations seek to reduce red tape for Pota and Tuna fishing, which will enhance artisanal fisheries taking into account that the capture of these resources represents 70 percent of this extraction level.
“We are publishing this weekend modifications to fisheries management, both Pota as Tuna, in the sense of eliminating red tape for investors in the sector. The idea is to strengthen the extraction through the sincerity of the rules”He said in statements to Andina.
He noted that produces fishing strengthen other resources such as Perico, Bonito, Mackerel and Mackerel.
It is noted that in late October the said ministry launched the fourth tender for access to the share of tropical tuna in the Peruvian Sea and Eastern Pacific Ocean (EPO), with more auspicious to existing conditions.
