As part of the actions that are being made to sensitize men of the Sea in the care of aquatic resources the Regional Directorate of Production of Piura screened, the 24 and 26 February, the documentary OCEANS in the provinces of Talara, Paita and Sechura.
Oceans is a documentary directed by Jacques Perrin and Jacques directors Cluzaud, who show the depths of the seas of the five continents that feed all humanity. Also they have negative effects caused by the bad practices of fisheries.
“Lo que buscamos con este evento que hemos denominado cine marino es sensibilizar a los pescadores sobre el cuidado de los recursos hidrobiológicos. También queremos concientizar a las futuras generaciones como son los hijos de los pescadores para lograr que nuestros recursos sean sostenibles en el tiempo”, said the Regional Director of Production of Piura, Indira Fabian Ferrer.
The first screening of this important documentary was held on Monday 22 at 4 pm in the auditorium of the artisanal fisheries landing of Talara. Then on Wednesday, 24 documentaries will be presented in the cove Yacila at 6:00 p.m. and finally on Friday 26 documentaries will be screened in the TPZ Parachique at 4.00 p.m.
Admission is free to the marine film so are invited to participate fishermen and the general public.
