Irregular waves in the Peruvian Coast from Thursday

The North Coast, central and south present irregular waves from the Pacific Ocean from tomorrow Thursday 26, primarily affecting areas of beaches and ports, informed the Directorate of Hydrography and Navigation of the Navy of Peru.

He said that in North Coast will be intermittent presence of light waves in the early hours of Thursday 26, increasing to moderate in the early hours of Friday 27 and decrease intermittent slight swell in the afternoon of Saturday 28 December.

As for the Littoral center, waves will light flashing in the late hours of the afternoon of Thursday 26, increasing to moderate Friday morning decreasing to 27 and intermittent slight swell in the afternoon of Saturday 28 December.

In the South Coast will be intermittent presence of light waves in the early hours of Friday 27 December.
The predictive horizon status Sea to Monday December 30, is expected to continue the presence of intermittent slight swell on the coast.

The Maritime Authority said that these waves mainly affect areas that have open or semi-northwest facing beaches.

Therefore the entire coastal population and persons performing port activities, fishing, sports and recreational safety measures to prevent accidents and / or personal injury and property damage is recommended.
Finally, the Navy reported that the Directorate of Hydrography and Navigation will continue to assess the state of the sea according to the behavior of atmospheric and oceanic systems for ongoing prevention and safety of all Peruvians.
