MEXICO – 55 Dolphins are four dead sea lions

The Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA) in Mexico reported the appearance of the remains of 55 dolphins and four sea lions on a beach in Baja California.
According to Profepa, the remains of animals were found scattered along 124 kilometers and the cause of death is unknown.
“From the observation of the specimens is highlighted not have any laceration or wound, or is present nets, hooks or traces indicating that death is attributable to Fishing”The statement said.
The national estimated 22 Dolphin took about 20 days dead. The rest, including sea lions, the calculation is about five days.
