PERU fishing with guts to report…
The Ministry of Production continues its audit work along the Peruvian coast and seized product of this work, between 01 and 07 July, a total of 2,630 tonnes of juvenile anchovy from 64 industrial vessels.
This sector reported that this resource would be used fishmeal and fish oil.
This cargo was seized in discharge areas and plants of different fishing enterprises in the regions of Ancash, Callao, Lima, Ica and Moquegua, where inspectors from the Surveillance and Control of Fishing and Landing in the Maritime Field showed up .
Fishing companies and owners who made the seizures are Pesquera Diamante, Fisheries Casablanca, COPEINCA, Empresa Pesquera Flora Sipion Augusto Barrios, Yoly Fisheries, Fisheries Z and T Exalmar Fisheries, Fisheries Marinha.
Food Technology, Southern Group, CFG Investment, Pesquera Centinela, Pesquera María Enma, Pesquera Saby, Pesquera Pelayo, RH Administraciones, Isla Ons., Inversiones Zero, Chunga Purizaca, Pesquera Luisa, Pesquera Astrid y Pesquera Hayduk.
All vessels at the time they were taken over by downloading Anchovy exceeding the legal rate of 10 percent tolerance allowed for smaller sizes.
Thus, ministry inspectors raised their corresponding occurrence reports, initiating administrative disciplinary procedures.
This sector reported that care in the Peruvian Anchovy Sea is transcendental and whether that action is captured in youth size does not permit its play affecting biomass and catch quotas for the upcoming fishing season.
