The spy scandal that threatens relations between Peru and Chile

But according to the indictment, the men traveled to Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Bolivia to meet with Chilean military.

And, Ramos said, are also suspected of having sent encrypted images to your contacts.
From Chile, the government spokesman, Elizalde said “has not received any official information about” accusations.

Background
It is not the first time that a Peruvian military faces charges of spying for Chile.
In 2010 a military court sentenced 25 years in prison and ordered to pay a fine of US $ 248,000 to Petty Officer Victor Ariza Air Force, accused of sending confidential information to the neighboring country.

But then that in January 2014 the court of The Hague to finalize resolution of a territorial dispute between the two countries historically, the link seemed to have reached a haven.
