The British John Beeden achieved through non-stop rowing the Pacific Ocean in 209 days. It started in San Francisco, USA, and came to Australia, which represents an unprecedented milestone.
The adventurer, 53, was received by his family on the dock of the City of Cairns, located on the northeast coast of Australia, local ABC. John Beeden had crossed the Atlantic Ocean by rowing from the Canary Islands to Barbados in 53 days.

The British said they knew the journey was going to be tougher than the Atlantic, but still was surprised by the virulence of the Pacific.
