The seaports of the region had to be closed due to the presence of anomalous waves that occurs on the coast of the southern coast.

As reported by the Hydrography of the Navy of Peru, this phenomenon has been seen since yesterday (Tuesday) and will continue until Friday.

Therefore the Port Authority of Mollendo ordered the closure of the ports of Mollendo and Penthouse.

Facility staff said yesterday any fishing vessel went fishing as a precaution due to irregular waves.
