The Peruvian sardine or anchovy, be the star of a Food Festival to be held this Friday 6th in the city of Pisco, Province of the same name, Ica Region. The activity will also provide nutritional talks to mothers, it was reported.
The festival, which will start at 08:00 and end at 13:00, will be held at the Plaza de Armas in Pisco, according to the organizers, the aim of IV Peruvian Sardine Festival is to encourage consumption Anchovy.
In the activity, organized by the National Fisheries Society, in addition to nutritional talks, cookbooks and the audience participate in numerous tastings giveaways.
Admission is free and attendees has also scheduled educational games to learn even more about the consumption of this marine species.
Additionally, visitors will present the alternatives that exist to consume Sardina Peruvian market (with herbs, tomato sauce, hamburger, etc.).
