“Propose a land boundary that separates absolutely demarcation was done between the two countries in 1930, which has to do with the Milestone 1 marked and placed on both and it is precisely in parallel to the Court in The Hague ruled maritime projection of both nations in the first 80 kilometers”He said.
In this context, requested the Government of Michelle Bachelet review “our policy of integration and collaboration with Peru”.
“Whether it was considered settled all border, land and maritime issues, and Peru returns again to provoke, to place an issue that was already passed since 1930”He stressed.
Opposition Senator Francisco Chahuán mentioned that Peru creates conflicts in areas which it considers are completely ironed out.
“This deserves at least a letter of protest and a call to query eventually the Chilean ambassador to Peru”He said.
He also said that the adoption of this new Peruvian official map and words of President Ollanta Humala on the subject are “provocation”.
