Representatives of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) and the Technological Institute of Production Peru today signed an agreement to develop a study of bivalve molluscs.
The commitment was signed by the Rector of the USC, Juan Casares Long, and the Executive Director of that Peruvian Scientific Institute of Hair Mercedes Inés Carazo.
Scientific research provides bivalve molluscs detect molecules adenovirus, aichi virus, astrovirus, enterovirus, hepatitis E, sapoviruses and rotavirus, according to USC.
